Happy Nomday!

Today Garibaldi Rous decided to wait until after he went swimming to finish his Swiss chard. Usually he eats it in the pool.

1100 of these little Super Capy plushes are about to descend upon our house. I wonder if I can get a photo of Garibaldi with just his nose sticking out of a pile of them!

This is Caplin Rous’ younger brother Dobby when he was just six months old. Dobby is now almost three. In the meantime, this photo has seen itself across the web and is available as a 108-piece jigsaw puzzle.

The Cheezburger network is buying the rights to my video Swimming with Bakersfield. Watch it now so later when you see it flying around the web you can say you saw that video way back when.

This photo of Caplin Rous shows one of the amazing things about capybaras, they can close their eyes in thirds. In this photo, Caplin has just the back third of his eye closed. They can also close just the front third or the front and the back thirds together. Only the middle third of the eye has lashes.
